Automotive Fuel Tank Structure
In the image below, you can see the structure of a multilayer automotive fuel tank. This tank consists of two HDPE layers, two adhesive layers, a regrind layer, and one barrier layer (such as EVOH):
The two adhesive layers used in the construction of the fuel tank are interlayer adhesives specifically designed for fuel system applications and are developed and produced by Aria Polymer. The technical specifications of this type of adhesive are provided at the end.
